Our Mission
The Kenektic Foundation advances the fight against loneliness through funding groundbreaking research, supporting community connection programs, and championing loneliness as a public health priority.
Our Vision
A world where no one faces loneliness alone.
Core Values
What guides our work
Evidence-Based
Grounded in over 3,000 loneliness research sources, we fund what the data tells us works — not guesswork.
Equity-Focused
We prioritize underserved and vulnerable populations who face the greatest barriers to connection.
Community-Centered
We partner with grassroots organizations because lasting change happens at the community level.
Authentic Connection
We invest in building real relationships — not digital substitutes. Genuine friendship is the goal.
Transparency
We communicate clearly about our strategy, funding decisions, and impact — because trust matters.
Theory of Change
How we believe loneliness can be solved
01
Research
Fund rigorous studies to understand what loneliness interventions actually work.
02
Programs
Support community organizations implementing evidence-based connection programs.
03
Policy
Advocate for systemic change that treats loneliness as the public health crisis it is.
04
Culture Shift
Drive a societal shift where connection is prioritized and loneliness is taken seriously.
Foundation Independence
The Kenektic Foundation is a legally separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. While founded by the team behind Kenektic Inc., we operate independently with our own board of directors and governance structure.
Kenektic Inc. may provide annual grants to support our work, but the Foundation operates with complete independence in its funding decisions, strategic priorities, and organizational direction.
This independence ensures that our grants, research, and advocacy remain mission-driven and free from commercial influence.
Long-Term Vision
Where we’re headed
By 2035, we aim to deploy over $100 million in grants supporting loneliness research and community programs, reaching millions of Americans and establishing loneliness as a recognized public health priority nationwide.
